Deichmann Store Manager

**Job Summary**
Deichmann is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team in a cover role. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing managerial support across a cluster of stores, including Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Crawley, Horsham, and other surrounding areas.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Motivate and Coach the Team**: Lead by example and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service, promoting a positive and inclusive store environment.
- **Lead by Example**: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services, and lead by example in promoting and upselling products to customers.
- **Rota Management**: Draft and manage rotas in line with payroll budgets, ensuring efficient use of staff resources.
- **Stock Management**: Oversee stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- **Sales Analysis**: Analyze sales figures and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to drive sales growth.
- **Company Standards**: Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising, administration, and customer service.
- **Targets and KPIs**: Work towards targets and hit company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving business growth and success.
- **Team Development**: Assist with the recruitment and development of the team, providing coaching and training to ensure staff are equipped to meet business needs.
**Personal Qualities**
- **Hands-on Leader**: A hands-on leader with experience in retail or a related industry sector, able to motivate and inspire the team.
- **Positive and Flexible**: A positive and flexible approach, with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- **Strong Communication**: Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the team.
- **Methodical and Organized**: Methodical and organized, with a structured approach to work and strong numeracy skills.
- **UK Driving Licence**: A full UK driving licence is preferred, due to the travel involved in this role.
**Salary and Benefits**: £29,000 per annum, plus benefits package.
