We undertake projects on a traditional or Design and Build basis, with scheme values up to £10 Million.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Director to join our team. As part of our planned growth, this role will play a crucial part in overseeing the bidding process, setting processes and procedures, and making bid/no bid decisions on tenders based on company guidelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning workload with the other Company Directors, contributing to and working towards business plan targets, managing the precon team, and monthly management reporting.
The company has an established client base, and the successful candidate will work closely with the business development team to develop these relationships and identify new business opportunities.
The role is office-based, with visits to sites and clients/their representatives as required. You will be responsible for managing your own diary.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work closely with the Construction Director and Commercial Director.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Director who has operated in a similar role to that described above. Alternatively, we would consider Pre-Construction Managers who are ready to take on a larger role and have a track record of supporting other functional leads in recent years.
You will have a great understanding of the construction industry and be familiar with Construction Contracts.
