About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Financial Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at our head office in Worcestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise and process purchase and sales invoices, including management fees, rent, and income shares.
  • Assist the Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Accountants with year-end statutory accounts and audits.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial results.
  • Assist with fulfilling financial requirements specified within contracts and leases.
  • Help prepare financial reports for board directors and external stakeholders.
About You
  • You are an early-stage accountancy student or aspiring to pursue an accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA); ideally at the end of AAT or starting ACCA/CIMA.
  • You have experience preparing management accounts and financial statements, with the ability to process double-entry journals.
  • You possess a strong analytical mindset with proficient spreadsheet skills.
  • You are highly organized, motivated, and effective in time management.
  • You are driven and eager to learn quickly alongside studying.
  • You have excellent communication skills for building effective relationships.
