Project Accountant - £55,000 - Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our team at The Talent Crowd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of large-scale projects, including project budgets, revenue and cost, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow on project builds, and milestone invoicing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of project costs and revenue and contract terms
- Cost control and implementation and monitoring of internal controls over project specific materials and common store inventory
- Management of financial aspects of large-scale projects, including project budgets, revenue and cost, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow on project builds, and milestone invoicing
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years PQE CIMA/ACCA with experience of cost and revenue recognition and cash flow management of large-scale projects within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis, and proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) are also essential.
