As a key player in shaping the future of fulfilment at Tesco, we seek a motivated professional to enhance the efficiency of our Grocery Home Shopping network. This role involves collaborating with teams to innovate processes and solutions while proactively addressing challenges and generating ideas for business improvement. You will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing the efficiency and performance of the Tesco Grocery Home Shopping network, overseeing everything from product selection to home delivery. As part of the Fulfilment Network Centre of Excellence, you will identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement by analyzing network data, spotting trends, and integrating findings into operational strategies. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of new business tools aimed at streamlining and automating complex challenges. Your role will also involve identifying underperformance areas and diagnosing root causes.
Your Responsibilities
Evaluate and enhance picking, marshalling, and delivery processes and systems. Identify root causes and deliver data-driven solutions to refine the analytical frameworks supporting these processes. Collaborate across functions to guide the long-term strategy based on diverse requirements. Generate actionable insights and intelligence. Lead analytical projects and support initiatives from other teams. Extract and report data from various sources, developing new metrics to identify issues early.Required Qualifications
Proficient in MS Excel and SQL. Familiarity with analytical tools such as Python or Alteryx is advantageous. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of statistical analysis is beneficial. Strong analytical capabilities and experience handling large datasets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Creative and driven in finding innovative solutions. A degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, etc.) is essential.
