About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roving Chef to join our team at JW Lees. As a Roving Chef, you will be responsible for providing culinary expertise and support to our pub kitchen teams across the Greater Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pub kitchen teams with food preparation and service
  • Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food standards
  • Work across multiple sites, covering shifts and providing relief as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen teams to develop menus and improve food offerings
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
  • Excellent working knowledge of kitchen operations, health and safety, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
