Electrical Assessor

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our team as an Electrical Assessor, providing training and assessment to apprentice electricians. As an Electrical Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and observations in both the workplace and classroom settings, providing constructive feedback and support to learners, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and observations of learners in both the workplace and classroom settings
- Provide constructive feedback and support to learners to help them meet the required standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment records and documentation
- Collaborate with the training team to develop and improve assessment materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical installations
- Fully qualified electrician with at least three years of electrical installations experience
- Full driving license
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills
- Nurturing and encouraging personality
- Professionalism to make a good teacher
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of teaching
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Annual salary starting at £33,000, depending on experience
- Full training and support to become an electrical lecturer
