Position Overview

The Applications Lead is a pivotal role designed to consolidate policies, procedures, and skilled teams across various healthcare institutions. This position is essential for enhancing the operational efficiency of our Cadence and Community Teams.

As a senior figure within the Applications Team, the incumbent will ensure the integrity and progressive enhancement of the Epic modules relevant to the care delivery area. Additionally, the role encompasses the management of complex change initiatives and improvement projects, alongside overseeing a selection of non-Epic systems in collaboration with technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of critical Epic modules to align with innovative workflows and patient pathways.
  • Manage a diverse team, including a Deputy Applications Manager, Senior Analysts, and Analysts, ensuring effective delivery of projects and ongoing management.
  • Facilitate regular process reviews and system development meetings with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Direct the planning and execution of systems implementation, considering all dependent variables and liaising with affected departments.
  • Analyze and propose enhancements to current workflows and practices, driving the direction of change projects.
  • Provide leadership in project management, identifying necessary resources for successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and facilitate agreements for changes to critical workflows.
  • Assist in the ongoing testing and upgrades of systems to ensure safety, usability, and security.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Accreditation in an Epic module is mandatory.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field, with a master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a senior role within a healthcare environment.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering complex projects on time.
