Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and site services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Care and Maintenance
    • Develop and implement robust asset care strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
    • Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting
    • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve equipment failures.
    • Use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Inventory Management and Stock Control
    • Support the development and implementation of processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure inventory is accurately managed.
  • Health and Safety and Food Safety
    • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with food safety standards and controls.
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Complete all necessary documentation to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
    • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and site services.
    • Communicate effectively with internal customers to ensure production runs effectively.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Formal engineering qualification (HNC and above).
    • Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
    • Demonstrable skills in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley).
    • Experience working with various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work accurately and methodically in all tasks.
    • Good numeracy and IT skills.
    • Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
    • Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
