Job Title: Residential Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team in three beautiful Good and Outstanding homes in an idyllic Peak District setting. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our young residents, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring each young person is safe and cared for effectively
  • Addressing care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs
  • Working in partnership with parents, families, carers, and other professionals to advocate for, safeguard, and promote the welfare of children and young people
  • Covering various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, on weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays
  • Promoting an organisational culture that values every team member's contribution and is intolerant of discrimination in any form

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with previous experience working in children's residential care settings (or similar) and a commitment to full-time working, including sleep-ins and potentially short residential trips away with young people. Applicants must be able to drive manual vehicles and have Enhanced DBS clearance.
