About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Production Supervisor to join our team at James Hall & Co. as part of our continued growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess weekly production plans and manage daily staff requirements to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards to maintain a safe working environment and high-quality products.
  • Rotate stock and monitor production runs to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Oversee production timings, review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and brief staff to ensure timely and accurate production.
  • Ensure product specifications are met and document processes to maintain quality control and compliance.
  • Maintain machinery and manage site security to prevent equipment damage and unauthorized access.
  • Conduct staff training and manage attendance to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Review and report on daily working hours against schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory position, particularly within a Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize production processes.
  • Food Safety Level 2/3 certification.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in either Urdu or Gujarati (desirable but not essential).
