About the Role

Nexus Health Limited is seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality First Contact Physiotherapy services to patients in West Hertfordshire.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated physiotherapist to work in a fast-paced environment, providing expert care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to work autonomously to assess, manage, and discharge patients without referral to a GP where appropriate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise as a first-contact physiotherapist, making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care.
  • Progress and request investigations to facilitate diagnosis and choice of treatment regime.
  • Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, facilitating behavioural change and optimising individuals' physical activity, mobility, and independence.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of working as a Band 8a in an NHS setting.
  • Injection therapy skills.
  • Ability to take virtual and face-to-face consultations.
