Job Summary

This is a senior accounting role within a global firm based in London. The company has a strong reputation for employee focus and industry-leading staff retention. As a Senior Accountant, you will work in a core accounting role, building on your technical accounting skills and preparing statutory accounts under IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for the group, providing insightful explanations of material deviations from plans, forecasts, and historical trends.
  • Prepare consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and cash flow reports, including commentary and relevant comparatives.
  • Liaise closely with the sales team to reconcile, report, and forecast revenue streams and gross margin.
  • Deliver monthly financial reports to key budget holders, presented appropriately to allow decision-making and verification.
  • Review and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient use of available systems.

Requirements

  • Actively studying for an ACCA or CIMA qualification or Qualified By Experience.
  • Extensive experience from the Group Finance function of a blue chip business.
  • Previous experience in a fast-moving environment.
  • Analysis of large volumes of data.
