About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader to join our team at Radis Community Care. As a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader, you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialized support to individuals. Radis recognizes each person as an individual and provides a unique service tailored to their specific needs and provides a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions/meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule/allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client-specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks, and offer support within the community.

You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis' housing-related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients' needs and expectations.

This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving license with access to a vehicle will also be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
