Position Overview

GEOPOLITICAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYST – ASIA-PACIFIC FOCUS

Filament Talent is collaborating with a prominent organization specializing in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and geopolitical analysis to find Geopolitical Intelligence Analysts with a focus on security dynamics concerning China and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidates will leverage their OSINT expertise, research skills, and analytical methodologies to generate precise and comprehensive reports on a variety of political and security matters within the APAC landscape.

Successful applicants should possess a discerning perspective and a natural curiosity, enabling them to discern critical information and extract relevant insights to produce clear and concise reports. A background in intelligence analysis, reporting, or investigative work is essential, along with demonstrable experience across diverse reporting formats.

Proficiency in English is essential. While training will be provided during the onboarding process, candidates should have prior experience in OSINT research roles, particularly with a focus on issues pertaining to China and the APAC region.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic OSINT-driven organization and engage with significant geopolitical challenges in the APAC area. All positions offer substantial opportunities to cultivate an exceptional OSINT practitioner portfolio and gain extensive experience across various reporting products.

The organization promotes flexible working arrangements; however, candidates will be required to be present in the office for part of the workweek.

Key Qualifications:


• Proven experience in intelligence analysis and OSINT.


• In-depth knowledge of security issues related to China and the APAC region.


• Proficient in English, with strong writing capabilities.

Desirable Qualifications:


• Familiarity with OSINT practices specifically related to China and the APAC region.


• Experience working with online content in regional languages of the APAC area.
