Fire Safety Consultant

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to join their team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for providing fire safety advice and implementing fire science principles to real projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis, and cost benefit analysis.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Produce fire safety engineering reports and review design information to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage fire safety on construction sites and ensure the implementation of fire water network and fire water pumping systems.
- Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar).
- Experience of providing fire safety advice in the nuclear sector and in a conventional environment.
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, national and international standards, and fire water network and fire water pumping systems.
- NEBOSH Fire Certificate (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to travel within the UK and overseas.
