About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Sewell Wallis Ltd. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the IT/Software industry with their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chase overdue payments and ensure timely collection of cash.
  • Handle all queries and requests from clients, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Work closely with the team to maximize cash collections and allocation.
  • Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the team with billing and purchase orders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage the purchase ledger, matching and coding invoices, and perform bank reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable is essential.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or other cloud-based systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required.
  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification, such as AAT, is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively and prioritize workload is essential.
