About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Laundry Assistant at Avery Healthcare. As a Laundry Assistant, you will support the Head Housekeeper in providing a high-quality laundering service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all laundering duties, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Understand wash guide instructions and laundering requirements for various textiles, including cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Practice safe systems of work, assessing risk and considering personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Contribute fully to teamwork, responding positively to colleagues and promptly acting on all reasonable work instructions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a positive attitude towards residents, compassion, and commitment to delivering exceptional laundry services. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar setting or a hotel, and a strong understanding of laundering requirements applicable to various textiles.
