**Vertical Advantage** is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Buyer to join its dynamic procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing packaging materials across the globe.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect procurement, with a focus on marketing. You will be working closely with global partners to negotiate prices, manage costs, and achieve budgets for the company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing methods to optimize procurement processes
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and manage contracts
- Ensure cost management and budget achievement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years of experience in indirect procurement, with a focus on marketing
- Strong analytical skills and process improvement experience
- Previous experience in creating and implementing sourcing strategies
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- CIPs qualified or equivalent experience
