Role Overview
Rituals is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our stockroom, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting the sales floor with stock replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products, adhering to company standards for housekeeping and organization.
Assist in the replenishment of stock on the sales floor, ensuring timely and accurate restocking to meet customer demand.
Verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality control, reporting any issues to management.
Communication and Collaboration
Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding stock levels, inventory issues, and any concerns related to stockroom operations.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless stock replenishment and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods company.
- Awareness of stock control, monitoring stock levels, and previous experience with stock management, including unpacking and booking deliveries, replenishment, and stock takes.
