Job Description

Role Overview

Rituals is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our stockroom, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting the sales floor with stock replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.

  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products, adhering to company standards for housekeeping and organization.

  • Assist in the replenishment of stock on the sales floor, ensuring timely and accurate restocking to meet customer demand.

  • Verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality control, reporting any issues to management.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding stock levels, inventory issues, and any concerns related to stockroom operations.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless stock replenishment and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods company.
  • Awareness of stock control, monitoring stock levels, and previous experience with stock management, including unpacking and booking deliveries, replenishment, and stock takes.
