Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Casual Secondary School Educator to provide engaging lessons across various subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management abilities, and a dedication to supporting all students in their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Evaluate, document, and communicate the development, progress, and achievements of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching practices.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring their well-being.
  • Engage in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience in a secondary school teaching environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching specific subjects, such as English, Maths, or Science.
  • Familiarity with current educational practices and initiatives.
  • Experience with specific educational software or teaching methodologies, if applicable.

All pay rates quoted will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role becoming available later.
