About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to develop and implement individualised education plans.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on their learning requirements.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement.
  • Support the implementation of behavior management strategies.
  • Work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
