Job Overview

In collaboration with the Head Chef, you will oversee and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service to our guests. You will be accountable for maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards within the hotel, ensuring that our culinary offerings consistently meet high expectations.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our culinary team, your daily tasks will include:

  • Direct management of restaurant, room service, and conference catering operations.
  • Striving to meet and exceed guest expectations, ensuring our Food & Beverage services are recognized for quality and value.
  • Maintaining food preparation, presentation, and cooking standards in accordance with Brand guidelines, and taking corrective measures when necessary.
  • Continuously seeking innovative and high-quality food options that are presented attractively.
  • Ensuring the highest hygiene standards are upheld by the kitchen team in compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
  • Fostering a positive work environment that promotes learning and personal growth as key drivers of quality improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with the Restaurant and Bar Manager, as well as the Conference Sales Manager, to achieve operational goals.
  • Coordinating with the stewarding team to fulfill kitchen requirements.
  • Following Emergency Communication protocols to ensure media inquiries are handled by designated spokespersons.
  • Actively implementing the Accor Vision and embodying Accor Values.
  • Participating in operational meetings and committees to ensure the kitchen's voice is heard.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sous Chef capacity.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Kitchen Administration.
