Job Role: Procurement Analyst – Sourcing and Supply Chain

Role Summary:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the sourcing and supply chain management processes. Your responsibilities will include:


• Managing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and engaging with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.


• Issuing and monitoring Purchase Orders (POs) while fostering strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective execution.


• Ensuring timely delivery of necessary goods and services while tracking their status.


• Identifying and addressing inefficiencies in processes and suggesting enhancements.


• Overseeing contract negotiations and renewals, as well as discussions with suppliers.


• Cultivating supplier relationships to gain insights into the market, evaluate risks, and ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


• Coordinating with team members and stakeholders regarding data collection and analysis.


• Resolving issues and managing changes in scheduling.


• Reporting on supplier performance and addressing any non-conformity issues.


• Processing supplier invoices and managing any necessary corrections.


• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of purchased items and preparing comparative analyses to identify optimal value.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess:


• A minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the Oil & Gas or energy sectors, or related technological industries.


• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a technical focus.


• Proficiency in the English language; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.


• Relevant experience or training in contract and agreement documentation.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish trust with both customers and suppliers.


• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle systems is essential.


• Experience in leading procurement initiatives and contributing to decision-making processes.


• The capability to work autonomously and take initiative in managing tasks and responsibilities.
