About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Lawyer to join our Corporate Debt team at DiverseJobsMatter. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on complex debt transactions and providing expert guidance on finance law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate finance documents, including loan agreements and security documents, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage aspects of transaction processes, including due diligence, risk assessment, and deal closure.
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced colleagues to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Foster and grow client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in finance law and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with experience in finance law, preferably with a background in loan market association documents and English law security documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your communication style to suit different clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex transactions and risk.
