The Role:

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with civils/groundworks experience to join our team at ZipRecruiter. This position involves working with a large groundworks company that specializes in large residential developments across the South East for top 20 housebuilders. Projects will be located in the Cambridge, Stevenage, and North London areas.

This role requires frequent travel to the office near Hounslow and site-based work for the remaining days.

The Company:

Our client is a well-established groundworks firm with multiple offices in the South East and employs over 450 people. They offer a range of services including RC frames, groundworks, ground remediation, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and negotiate Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and contract documents
  2. Monitor and control project costs
  3. Risk management
  4. Forecasting and reporting at all stages through to final accounts
  5. Attend project meetings
  6. Liaise with design teams, clients, and subcontractors

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Relevant degree
  2. Ideal civils/groundworks experience
  3. UK driving license

Salary and Benefits:

  1. Up to £55,000 DOE
  2. Car allowance
  3. Bonus
