About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Exchange Support and Bidding Officer to join our team at THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTHAMPTON. As a key member of the Knowledge Exchange team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating engagement with businesses and external organizations across our academic faculties, institutes, and centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Knowledge Exchange leads and the wider KE team to develop and implement strategies for engaging with businesses and external organizations.
  • Provide support and guidance to researchers and academics on knowledge exchange opportunities and collaborations.
  • Assist in the development of bids and proposals for funding opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses and external organizations to identify potential collaboration opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge exchange policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in knowledge exchange, business development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector and its stakeholders.
