About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Knowledge Exchange Support and Bidding Officer to join our team at the University of Northampton. As a key member of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of our knowledge exchange and innovation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to the Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise team, including research and analysis, report writing, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including academics, researchers, and industry partners.
  • Contribute to the development of bids and proposals for research funding, including writing and editing, and ensuring compliance with university and funder requirements.
  • Support the management of research projects, including budgeting, financial reporting, and project evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university to identify and develop new knowledge exchange and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Good honours degree in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Relevant vocational or professional qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional body (desirable).
