Job Description:

R24 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to join our team in Yorkshire and Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing relationships within the construction, chemicals, and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor market pricing globally and provide insights to our leadership team
  • Research and pursue new business opportunities in targeted regions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and suppliers
  • Manage and undertake overseas travel as required (approximately 2-3 times a quarter)
  • Conduct competitor analysis in targeted regions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in export sales, preferably within the construction, chemicals, or building materials industries
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a distribution or export sales position
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on exceeding sales targets and growth
  • Proactive, competent, and dynamic personality with a 'can-do' attitude
