Renewable Energy Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with and oversee Balance of Plant (BoP), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and Independent Connection Providers (ICP) to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and maintain project timelines.
• Cultivate relationships with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) post-project handover from developers, conducting regular discussions to align on technical and commercial aspects of connection agreements.
• Collaborate with developers on outstanding planning issues, including Non-Material Amendments.
• Serve as the primary contact for landowners, addressing any concerns or claims during the construction phase.
• Coordinate with local councils for necessary permits or arrangements throughout the construction process and engage with community stakeholders.
• Oversee the performance of consulting services engaged by the company, including Technical Advisors, Health and Safety, and Environmental specialists.
• Work closely with the operational team on contract documentation, purchase orders, change orders, and other contract modifications.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, quality control, contract compliance, design integrity, and construction excellence.
• Conduct regular site visits to liaise with contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties.
• Compile and present weekly and monthly project updates.
• Proactively identify potential risks or opportunities impacting the project timeline and implement strategies to mitigate risks while leveraging opportunities for project benefit.
• Organize preliminary surveys prior to the commencement of construction activities.
Qualifications for Success:
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing onshore wind or other renewable energy projects.
• A degree or professional certification in a relevant engineering field such as electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues across various levels.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, coupled with the enthusiasm and drive to thrive in a rapidly growing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing pertinent information with relevant stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail and the ability to propose effective solutions.
