Water Resources Specialist

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources and Drought Consultant to join our client, a specialist Water Consultancy based in Exeter.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water supply, water resource assessments, water resource planning, and drought response plans. A valid driving license is required for site visits and office travel.
As a Senior Water Resources and Drought Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading water resource and drought planning, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assessing and monitoring the performance of water resource management plans.
- Implementing drought plans and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Conducting audits and annual reviews of strategies.
- Aligning water resource planning with catchment and water network strategies.
- Conducting water supply risk assessments.
- Visiting sites across the local area.
