Position: Energy and Sustainability Consultant

This role presents a unique opportunity to become part of a diverse building services consultancy that emphasizes a comprehensive approach to the construction sector.

The firm is seeking an Energy and Sustainability Consultant to contribute to various commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Part L evaluations and generate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for non-residential properties.
  • Develop design documentation, including sustainability assessments and low or zero carbon feasibility studies.
  • Utilize IES software for thermal modeling and perform Part O and daylight evaluations.
  • Engage with BREEAM standards, including the analysis of project reports.
  • Carry out site assessments and inspections for commercial developments.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant in the construction sector.
  • A degree in sustainability, energy, or environmental science.
  • A Non-Domestic Energy Assessor certification, with proven experience in producing EPCs for commercial properties.
  • Hands-on experience with IES-VE software for energy modeling.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
