This is an exceptional opportunity for a tax professional passionate about private client services to contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking firm. You can join as either a Partner or Director, depending on your experience, with a clear progression plan in place. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and the flexibility to be based anywhere in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the private client tax department, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a high standard of work.
  • Provide expert advice on a comprehensive range of private client tax matters, including inheritance tax, trusts, estate planning, and related areas.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored strategic tax planning solutions to meet their individual needs.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated client solutions and a seamless service experience.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Managers, Seniors, and Trainees, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction and success of the firm by participating in networking events and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • ACA/CTA qualified with substantial experience specializing in private client tax matters.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a tax department within a professional services environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, estate planning, and related areas of taxation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team of professionals.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to contribute to the firm's growth and success.
