Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the private client tax department, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
  • Provide expert guidance on a wide range of private client tax matters, including inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering strategic tax planning advice tailored to their individual needs.
  • Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance within the department.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to provide comprehensive solutions that meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Supervise a team comprising Managers, Seniors, and Trainees, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development.
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic growth and direction by actively participating in networking and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Hold an ACA/CTA qualification with extensive experience in private client tax matters.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of leading and managing successful tax departments within professional service firms.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning intricacies.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Be proficient in interpreting and applying complex tax laws and regulations effectively.
