We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in the East Midlands region. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of a ground-breaking clinical trial into the early detection of oesophageal cancer.

The BEST 4 Screening Study is a large-scale trial that aims to determine whether the capsule sponge test can be used to detect early-stage oesophageal cancer. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for managing clinics on the BEST 4 mobile unit, administering the capsule sponge test, and working closely with established clinical teams, researchers, and administrators to facilitate recruitment, sample collection, and data entry.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in research methodology, significant post-registration clinical experience, and a proven track record of working in clinical trials. You will also need to be able to travel to various sites and work in a mobile unit environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • NMC Registration with continued CPD
  • Previous research experience or Upper GI experience
  • Knowledge of research methodology
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience
  • Experience in performing nurse-led clinics
