About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to lead our Physiotherapy team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and planning services, working closely with other agencies and professionals, and ensuring effective induction, supervision, and training of team members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service in the South of the County, ensuring high-quality care and effective collaboration with other teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, working closely with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure effective collaboration and joined-up thinking.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients, carers, professionals, and schools, promoting and developing the Physiotherapy profession and our service.
  • Implement department and trust objectives, working alongside other therapy team leads, service lead, and clinical services manager to drive service improvement.
  • Maintain high professional standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

Person Specification
  • Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy - MCSP.
  • Postgraduate course relevant to paediatrics.
  • HCPC membership.
  • Minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience.
  • Recent paediatric clinical experience.
  • Interest in continuing to develop skills and experience.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
