In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all electrical site operations efficiently, ensuring compliance with specifications and contract timelines while prioritizing the health and safety of all personnel involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations on-site.
  • Maintain SHE standards and ensure adherence to safe working practices.
  • Guarantee the production of high-quality outputs in accordance with current standards and specifications.
  • Verify the integrity of new electrical systems.
  • Safely isolate low voltage electrical systems.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and project timelines.
  • Review and update supplier inspection and testing plans relevant to ongoing work activities.
  • Participate in site inductions and toolbox discussions.
  • Support commissioning activities as necessary.
  • Engage in collaborative planning meetings and actively contribute to the development of site delivery schedules.
  • As the appointed Electrical Person, ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and produce necessary documentation aligned with CMDP electrical safety protocols.
  • Conduct electrical isolations.
  • Perform regular safety inspections on both temporary and permanent electrical equipment.
  • Facilitate one-on-one meetings with supply chain supervisors as needed, ensuring safety measures are implemented.
  • Assist in the preparation of project takeover documentation.
  • Oversee electrical testing in accordance with BS7671, evaluating test results against guidance notes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Issue access limitation permits.
  • Maintain a daily log of site activities.
