About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Help Family Support Worker to join our team. As an Early Help Family Support Worker, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to provide early intervention and support to prevent social care interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with children, young people, and parents/carers to identify and address their needs.
  • Use relevant tools and frameworks to assess and address safeguarding risks, developmental delays, and other areas of concern.
  • Hold a caseload of families allocated to Early Help interventions and work with them to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to provide universal, targeted, and specialist services to address the needs of children, young people, and families.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working directly with children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to use relevant tools and frameworks to identify and address safeguarding risks and developmental delays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.
