Our dedicated clinical team comprises professionals such as Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Creative Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our community-based nursing team. You will play a vital role in providing therapeutic assessment, formulation, and intervention to individual children up to 18 years old. Many of these children have complex attachment histories and may have experienced trauma in their early years.

Collaboration with other team members within care and education settings is essential to ensure continuity of care and maintain a consistent therapeutic framework for each child. The Head of Clinical Services will provide oversight and support within our friendly and cohesive clinical team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough therapeutic assessments, formulate care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual children's needs.
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with children, fostering a safe and supportive environment for them to express their thoughts and feelings.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, educators, and therapists, to ensure holistic care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Post-qualification experience in mental health at Band 5 or above.
  • Clinical Supervision Training.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car are essential due to the nature of the role.
