Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to lead our payroll team and assist the payroll management team in the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of payroll professionals
  • Process improvement and minimisation of errors
  • Check the payroll of the team and ensure deadlines are met
  • Communicate with external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Train new starters and payroll team members
  • Assist with hands-on payroll and client management
  • Use internal payroll systems and Microsoft Excel to process payroll
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team
  • Deal with escalated queries
Requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Provide examples of management experience
  • Show interest in team development
  • Have previous experience processing complex payrolls and high volumes
  • Be up to date on legislation
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have good systems skills, including MS Excel
  • Bureau/client payroll experience is ideal
