**About our service**
We are a unique service located in Scotland, supporting young adults who have a primary diagnosis of a learning disability and may also have mental health or autism support needs and behaviours that can challenge.

This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need to have previous experience of working within a care role and experience of leading a team. Previous job experience may include Care Coordinator, Senior Support Worker or Support Worker.
Having a driver's licence is desirable due to the location of our service.
**The role**
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos the Team Leader will support the Deputy and Registered Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a service. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and lead allocated Key and Co-Workers for individual people we support.
- Demonstrate positive, proactive, and organised people skills, that will support and develop the skills of the Support Workers, to ensure they deliver their agreed personal, and business objectives, which will include recruitment, induction, supervision, annual appraisals, skills analysis, and training development needs. Other areas of practice may include, but not exclusively, sickness and absence management and rota management.
- Thorough understanding of the requirements of the regulator and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of how these requirements are met within the service.
- Take the lead to help Support Workers also understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is always delivered.
- Support the Registered Manager in managing transitions into and away from the service. You will liaise professionally with all outside professional agencies and ensure that all information is shared appropriately.
