Information Security Manager

At Jackson Hogg, we are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001 and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security strategies and initiatives to protect the firm's assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage the firm's ISO 27001 ISMS programme, including chairing the Information Security Committee and ensuring effective and timely remediation actions.
- Align information security and data protection policies with business operations and strategies, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage security audits (internal, external and client-driven) and ensure effective and timely remediation actions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the secure implementation of software and hardware changes and upgrades.
- Contribute to the drafting and implementation of information security policies and procedures.
- Participate in assessing cyber security risks and mitigation efforts, and lend support to the firm's cyber security and information security incident response plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in information security management, with a strong understanding of ISO 27001 and other relevant standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
