The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager to join our team in Loch Lomond. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Area Manager to achieve business objectives and ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations:
    • Oversee store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective store schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
    • Train and coach the team to best practice, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Monitor and control store budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
    • Support with payroll processing and problem-solving.
    • Ensure the store meets compliance, customer service, and security standards.
  2. Sales:
    • Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, visual displays, and customer engagement.
    • Understand product features and benefits, and train the team to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and customer needs, with a strong commercial awareness.
    • Analyze sales data to inform commercial decisions and drive business growth.
    • Interpret merchandising guidelines to the sales floor, ensuring a strong commercial focus.
  3. Development:
    • Identify and develop internal talent, supporting performance management processes to drive exceptional performance.
    • Support with performance management, escalating issues professionally.
  4. Leadership and Management:
    • Inspire and motivate the team, acting as a role model.
    • Develop relationships with the store team, ensuring everyone is working towards the same goals.

Requirements

  • 3 years' management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
  • Ability to positively impact results in sales, payroll, and stock loss.
  • Commitment to supporting the Area Manager to achieve the highest store standards and customer service.
