This role will be based in the company's Cookstown office and offers a permanent position with fully negotiable salary, progression opportunities, and leading benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sourcing, supplier management, and category strategies to align with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within various categories.
- Monitor global market conditions and proactively address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Manage supplier relationships, focusing on cost reduction, product improvement, and ensuring production, delivery, and capacity requirements.
- Perform detailed cost analysis of components and manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost.
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop repeatable or standard product structures for simplified product allocation.
- Act as Procurement liaison for new product launches, managing sourcing activities to meet project cost and timeline goals.
- Ensure procurement practices comply with all regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing any gaps.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Minimum of 3 years procurement experience required.
