Salary: £45-£50k per annum
Location: Hybrid, London
Civitas Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be working with a renowned UK-based charity dedicated to providing long-term, consistent support to orphan children and their families in need. The charity supports and cares for over 40,000 orphans and their families in 13 countries, including Somalia and Palestine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure sustainable funding through strategic partnerships with high-net-worth individuals and corporates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and major donors.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including networking and prospecting.
- Create compelling and persuasive copy for proposals, pitches, and other fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with the charity's team to promote their work and achieve fundraising goals.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in philanthropy and major giving, with a track record of securing mid-level/high-value donations.
- Excellent research and prospecting skills, with the ability to develop a pipeline of activity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling copy and present to stakeholders.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including donors, trustees, and colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience in the Muslim philanthropy landscape is highly desirable.
