Retail Recruitment Advisor for the UK and Ireland

Objective:
The primary aim is to establish a robust and innovative recruitment framework for our retail positions, aiding our store teams in effectively attracting talent to join the Rituals family. This role requires the ability to identify 'best in class' candidates who align with the Rituals brand ethos. You will be responsible for all recruitment attraction strategies and enhance advertising and communication efforts to elevate brand visibility, engage candidates, and cultivate a professional network. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will champion best practices in hiring methodologies and processes.
Impact on Business:
Develop a local recruitment infrastructure with a proactive, long-term perspective. Collaborate and consult with all hiring managers (including Store Managers, Area Managers, Account Managers, and Head Office) to achieve optimal recruitment outcomes. Boost brand visibility through engaging and impactful initiatives. Promote the philosophy that “we are all recruiters” to strengthen the partnership between Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, ultimately leading to improved KPIs and business results. Approach recruitment with a commercial mindset.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the TA & EB Manager for the UK and Ireland, the Head of HR, and serve as a sparring partner for all hiring managers across various business lines. Provide specialized recruitment advice and training to management and collaborate with international recruitment teams.
Innovation:
Co-create local recruitment guidelines and processes that uphold brand values and communicate effectively. Support the creation of recruitment marketing content and advertising for retail roles across job boards, LinkedIn, and other hiring platforms.
Recruitment Activities:
Align with the local recruitment strategy and develop recruitment initiatives across stores. Coordinate various recruitment measures, conduct interviews, maintain job descriptions, and create toolkits and guidelines for hiring managers, including in-store training sessions. Utilize strategies to enhance the employer profile within the retail sector. Provide guidance and support to all managers throughout the recruitment process. Build relationships with local agencies and establish a strong Preferred Supplier List (PSL) with competitive terms and conditions. Generate creative ideas for recruitment activities to attract high-quality applications.
Advisory Role:
Ensure a seamless and communicative approach for applicants throughout each recruitment campaign. Train all hiring managers, including Store Managers, on local recruitment practices. Offer advice to employees and managers on all recruitment-related matters.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate job descriptions and guidelines for each vacancy.
- Review recruitment analytics and metrics.
- Monitor, plan, and manage the recruitment budget.
- Assist in creating recruitment marketing materials to attract candidates.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in retail recruitment with a network of retail professionals.
- Proven success in hiring within the UK/Ireland retail market, particularly in fashion, luxury goods, beauty, skincare, and/or wellness.
- Experience managing the entire hiring process from start to finish with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of creative sourcing strategies to identify highly qualified candidates, especially for niche roles.
- Expertise in developing innovative sourcing strategies and engaging directly with candidates.
- Proactive and hands-on approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and a comprehensive understanding of broader business objectives.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Teams.
Experience:
- Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Smart Recruiter is desirable.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced search techniques.
- Understanding of job boards and efficient management practices.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, particularly using Excel.
- Proven ability to build rapport and relationships with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Capable of executing ideas and initiatives effectively with strong follow-through.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently while prioritizing tasks.
- Solution-oriented with a focus on timely execution.
