About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to join our central SHE team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our South region, ensuring that our sites maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and advise on standards of health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Ensure that our sites are up-to-date with current legislation and group policies, and effectively communicate these to all stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement new and innovative ways of working to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Respond to accidents and incidents in a timely manner, ensuring that internal and statutory notifications are completed accurately.
  • Promote and encourage excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management within our business.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
  • CSCS Card
  • FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
  • IOSH affiliated member
  • Valid Driving licence
  • Maintained good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects
  • Worked on a wide range of construction methods and trades from groundwork's to internal fit-out and finishing trades
  • Worked with project team to develop innovative ways of working which improve HS&E standards
  • Reviewed new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation
