Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards and fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and uphold policies and programs that guarantee top-tier QHSE compliance.
- Champion a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
- Lead the continuous enhancement of QHSE policies and governance frameworks to align with legal requirements, mitigate risks, and support organizational objectives.
Incident Management
- Oversee the investigation, reporting, and review of accidents and incidents, providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities as needed.
Health and Safety Initiatives
- Facilitate company-wide campaigns aimed at promoting health, safety, and well-being.
- Identify and address emerging trends and issues related to health and safety.
Document Management
- Manage all documentation and controls related to the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Maintain a register of impacts and aspects for all chemicals and emission processes.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH.
- Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles.
- Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office Suite.
