We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in leading financial operations and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis, to ensure accurate financial reporting and informed business decisions.
- Accounting and Reconciliation: Oversee and authorize bank reconciliations, monitor and authorize sales and purchase ledgers, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Cash Flow Management: Handle day-to-day cash flow management, including bank payments and overheads, to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team, including monthly and quarterly returns to HMRC.
- Team Management: Conduct monthly 1-2-1s and annual performance reviews to support team development, identify and report risks to senior management, and negotiate company insurances.
- Qualifications: AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing an accounting team or department, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
- Skills: Expertise in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting practices, knowledge and experience in payroll management, and familiarity with Access Dimensions.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary package, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and 4 or 5 days kept for Christmas shutdown.
