Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at AFI Group of Companies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify purchase invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices received to purchase orders and ensure timely payment.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond to supplier inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with colleagues to resolve internal queries and ensure seamless communication.
  • Set up and maintain new supplier accounts, ensuring all necessary details are up-to-date.
  • Perform administrative duties, including filing, opening, and distributing post.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance team by taking on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
